Mann's Chinese Theatre.While millions are drawn each year by its legendary forecourt with its footprints of the stars, Mann’s Chinese Theatre is a spectacular movie palace with a unique history. Filled with exotic art from China, the theatre’s jade-green bronze roof rises 90 feet into the air. Spectacularly lit at night, it is a true Hollywood landmark. The Original Farmers Market. In July 1934, a contingent of farmers pulled their trucks onto an expanse of empty land at the corner of Third and Fairfax in Los Angeles and displayed their produce on the tailgates of their vehicles. Griffith Park. At the corner of Vermont Avenue and Los Feliz, you can enter the largest city park in the United States. Hollywood Bowl. This 18,000-seat internationally-renowned natural amphitheater is the summer home of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra.
